Waste recycling

In September 2006, Dīlers launched a new branch in its business – recycling of hazardous waste in accordance with the obtained permits.

Over the last few years, this sector has developed successfully, and, currently, Dīlers accepts such hazardous waste and disposed environmentally hazardous products for recycling:

1) all types of disposed accumulators (including cellular telephone batteries) and galvanic elements;
2) unusable electric and electronic appliances, i.e. disposed household and office equipment – monitors, TV sets, computers, printers, fax machines, scanners, copying machines, cellular telephones, photo cameras, luminescence lamps, washing machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, electric kettles, coffee machines, irons, grass mowers – in fact, anything that is operated by electricity;
3) plastics and PET waste;
4) glass waste;
5) paper, carton, wood waste;
6) rubber waste;
7) disposed vehicle tyres;
8) textile waste;
9) exhaust oils and filters;
10) large-size waste;
11) all types of packaging (with or without chemical waste);
12) disposed vehicles.

A separate helpdesk has been established for the clients. By calling the free helpline 80000515 (only in Latvia), you can receive the necessary information about the recycling of the aforementioned waste and agree on free removal thereof (only in Riga and Riga District). To popularise environment-friendly recycling of waste, SIA Dīlers registered a separate brand ELECO in 2009.

We offer legal entities and local governments to sign an agreement with our company for collection and recycling of all aforementioned types of waste. We are ready to place free special containers for disposal of electric appliances and electronics, luminescence lamps, batteries and accumulators as well as use our vehicles free of charge to deliver them for recycling.

Dīlers is the owner of AS "Latvijas Zaļais elektrons" and closely cooperates with such organisations as A/S ”Latvijas Zaļais Punkts”, SIA „Zaļa Josta”, and many other waste management companies. This ensures that our cooperation partners enjoy exemption from the natural resources tax.
